Here at  Hotwheelz Motorcycle Training we believe that it is very important when deciding who to train with that the instructors qualifications and experience should be top of your list.

Hotwheelz are one of the only training schools in the country to have an ex- Cardington Assessor who is also an ex DVSA motorcycle and car examiner conducting our instructor training courses. This guarantees a very high standard of training that you will not get at any other schools in the area.

Instructor Course

5 day training course £1195. This course will prepare you fully for your Cardington CBT1 Assessment which takes two days to complete. This assesses both your instructional ability and also your supervision ability.

1 day DAS training course £260. This course prepares you for your Cardington DAS Assessment which takes a half day to complete.

Further Training

When you have completed your course depending on your progress  you may need some extra practice before you apply for your Cardington assessment. We will arrange for some further training to ensure that you are fully prepared. On successful completion you may apply for your DVSA Certified Motorcycle Instructor Certificate for CBT. This will entitle you to work for any DVSA Approved Training Body (ATB) or even start your own ATB.

DAS Training

Further training will follow for the Direct Access Scheme assessment at Cardington, once successfully completed you may apply for your DVSA Certified Motorcycle Instructor Certificate DAS.

To become a DVSA assessed CBT  Motorcycle Instructor you must be over 21 or older, have a Great Britain or Northern Ireland driving licence and held a full category A licence for at least 3 years.
